Ryan Connor

Founder & Head Performance Coach

Ryan has worked as a professional sports performance coach focused on speed training since 2015.

Before opening the original Takeover location in 2018, he served as a high school basketball and lacrosse strength & conditioning coach and as the strength & conditioning director for an elite hockey organization.

He has helped hundreds of athletes prepare for combines, showcases, and seasons — and his obsession with speed and higher-level performance still drives constant study and refinement of the program.

Jamira Mashore

Performance Coach

Coach Jam grew up playing basketball, softball, and lacrosse. She played D1 lacrosse at Winthrop University and finished her career playing D2 lacrosse at Notre Dame College in Ohio, where she graduated in 2023 with degrees in exercise science and business administration.

She loves coaching because she gets to watch athletes push past their own expectations — the coach-athlete bond is what makes the work meaningful.
